The Coast and Ocean Risk Communication Community of Practice (CORC CoP) was initiated and sponsored by MEOPAR from 2017-2023 and supported by the Ocean Frontier Institute (OFI) Future Ocean and Coastal Infrastructures (FOCI) Project from 2022-present as Integration Work Package 2.
CORC CoP was initiated to bring together researchers, practitioners from all sectors (academia, private industry, NGOs, government) to share expertise and to provide a place for discussions and co-production of knowledge. The CoP provides an ideal opportunity to exchange and mobilize knowledge, enriching learning through interactions among the diverse membership of practitioners and researchers who represent multiple sectors, perspectives, and types of knowledge.
