Research-Based Lessons for Climate Change Communication

Join us February 12, 2025 starting at 9:30 am PT | 2:00 pm NL, to discuss key research-based lessons in climate change communication with presenter Prof. Mark Stoddart from Memorial University of Newfoundland. This webinar will be of value to people in many sectors (e.g., industry, government, NGOs, academia) and roles where communication occurs in the context of climate change.

Since 2011, Prof. Stoddart has researched the political and media dynamics of climate policy and public debate in Canada. His work has also examined eco-political tensions among off-shore oil industry and nature-focused tourism in Newfoundland and Labrador, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, and Scotland. He is involved in the Future Ocean and Coastal Infrastructures (FOCI) project concerning safe, sustainable, and inclusive coastal communities and industries for Atlantic Canada.
